While it must be said that the ventilation and breath ability of models we analyzed left something to be wanted, the Frog Tact was especially uncomfortable in this regard. It did not permit to pass from within the bivy out while the polyester film that comprises the shell was waterproof. That left us damp from condensation and finally feeling very uncomfortable.
When it arrived into precipitation, the Frog TACT did a very good job of keeping dry. A reflective polyester film, the substance itself, was indeed waterproof. When we would wake to the entrance/exit opening flapping in the 26, the only days we believed that precipitation made it within the bag is. A means was not to secure it cinch it shut except for rolling this up. Bring some chip clips to keep the Doritos bag sealed? The SOL Escape, we did find the Frog Tact to be a little more water-tight, but with some big drawbacks, when compared to the other ultralight emergency bivy we analyzed.
The TACT is undoubtedly the least expensive bivy we tested at $25, frequently imports for less.

The Survival Frog TACT Bivvy 2.0 for a great alternative for shelter and emergency weather protection in a tiny lightweight package.
